What is included in the rental price?

  • All additional costs such as water, electricity, WiFi, thorough final cleaning and cleaning of the common areas (for rooms).

Do you also rent by the hour or day?

  • No, we only rent on a weekly basis from Sunday to Sunday.

Are pets allowed?

  • No, pets are not allowed in our rooms and apartments.

Is smoking allowed?

  • Smoking is not permitted in our rooms and apartments. However, some properties have separate smoking areas.

Can I see the facility in advance?

  • Yes, if the room or apartment is available, you can view it - but only on Sunday between 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.

How can I reserve a room or apartment?

  • You can reserve via WhatsApp. Send us a passport photo and make the deposit within 24 hours.

What happens if the deposit is not received on time?

  • If the deposit is not received within 24 hours, the booking will be canceled and the room or apartment will be passed on. After paying the deposit, please send us a screenshot of the receipt immediately.

Can I cancel the reservation?

  • Yes, you can cancel free of charge up to 28 days before arrival.

What cancellation conditions apply?

  • If you do not show up, the deposit will be retained.

How is the deposit calculated?

  • The deposit will be offset against the rental payment on the day of arrival. You pay the remaining amount of the rent upon arrival in cash or via TWINT.

Can I book at short notice?

  • Yes, there are occasionally apartments or rooms available at short notice. We regularly post our free appointments in our WhatsApp story. It's worth checking out our stories - sometimes there are even cheaper prices if someone cancels at short notice.

Booking and payment

How does the booking work?

  • After booking, a deposit of 250 CHF is due to secure the reservation. The remaining balance must be paid upon check-in.

Which payment methods do you accept?

  • Cash, Twint or bank transfer (depending on arrangement).

What are the check-in times?

  • Check-in is on Sundays between 10 a.m. and 12 p.m. Later check-ins are possible upon request and by appointment. Please be on time.

Rooms and apartments

Are all rooms and apartments lockable?

  • Yes, all rooms are lockable.

Which apartments have parking spaces?

  • All apartments in Glattbrugg have private parking spaces. There are no private parking spaces in Zurich and Winterthur, but there are good connections to public transport and parking in the blue zone.

How many shower towels are there?

  • Per apartment: 10 shower towels.
  • Per room: 8 shower towels.
  • Room & Apartment 5 fitted sheets

Is there Wi-Fi?

  • Yes, all rooms and apartments have free WiFi.

Can I rent a room together with a friend?

  • No, each person rents their own room. However, it is possible to rent two rooms in the same apartment so that you are in one apartment together and share common areas.

Cleaning and laundry

Is there a laundry room?

  • Yes, there are shared laundry rooms in our properties.
  • Depending on your location, there is a laundry calendar that you have to sign up for. Alternatively, you can use the washing machine if it is free.

Who will do the cleaning?

  • Please clean the washing machine and dryer thoroughly after use. This includes emptying the lint filter and removing any residue.

Work permits

Who takes care of the 90-day permit?

  • You are actually responsible for this yourself, but we will be happy to take care of this for you upon request.

How does the work permit work in Switzerland?

  • We will prepare your work permit free of charge.

What should I know about the work permit?

  • The approval becomes valid from the time of submission (online notification) and not, as is often assumed, 8 days beforehand. You will usually receive confirmation within 24 hours.

How many days per year can I work?

  • You can work 90 days per calendar year anywhere in Switzerland. A separate permit must be created for each work location.

What do we need to create your permit?

  • A photo of your passport.
  • Full name.
  • Your private address (street, zip code and city).
  • Your phone number.
  • Birth date.
  • Your current email address
  • The desired start date and end date for the approval.

What happens when I use up my 90 days?

  • There are solutions for our regular and long-term tenants, e.g. B. a C permit. With the C permit you are subject to tax in Switzerland, in contrast to the 90-day permit.

Are there any additional fees or taxes?

  • No, in the canton of Zurich there are no additional taxes or SVA contributions during the 90-day approval period.
