Do you rent by the hour or by the day?
No, we rent exclusively on a weekly basis from Sunday to Sunday.
Are pets allowed?
No, pets are unfortunately not permitted in our rooms and apartments.
Is smoking allowed?
Smoking is not allowed in our rooms and apartments. However, some accommodations offer designated smoking areas or a balcony/terrace.
RESERVATION
How can I reserve a room or apartment?
You can reserve via WhatsApp. Send us a photo of your passport or ID and make the down payment within the given timeframe.
What happens if the down payment is not made on time?
If the down payment is not received within 24 hours, the booking will be cancelled and the room or apartment will be given to someone else.
Can I cancel my reservation?
Yes, you can cancel free of charge up to 15 days before arrival.
What are the cancellation conditions?
In case of no-show, the down payment will be retained.
How is the down payment credited?
The down payment will be deducted from the rental fee on the day of arrival. You pay the remaining amount in cash or via TWINT at check-in.
ROOMS AND APARTMENTS
How many towels are provided?
Per apartment: 10 towels.
Per apartment: 5 fitted sheets.
Is there Wi-Fi?
Yes, all rooms and apartments have free Wi-Fi.
Can I rent an apartment together with a friend?
No, each person rents her own apartment. However, it is possible to rent two apartments in the same building. This is possible in Glattbrugg (Icaros, Dumont, Lilienthal, Mongolfier).
BOOKING AND PAYMENT
How does the booking process work?
After booking, a down payment of 250 CHF is required to secure the reservation. The remaining amount must be paid at check-in in cash or via TWINT.
Which payment methods do you accept?
Cash, TWINT, QR invoice, or bank transfer.
What are the check-in times?
Check-in is on Sundays between 10:00 and 16:00. Later check-ins are possible upon request and by appointment.
WORK PERMITS
Who is responsible for the 90-day work permit?
Technically, you are responsible yourself, but we can handle it for you upon request.
What should I know about the work permit?
The permit becomes valid from the date of submission (online notification) and not, as often assumed, 8 days earlier. You usually receive the confirmation within 24 hours. (Information valid for the canton of Zurich – as of November 2025)
How many days per year am I allowed to work?
You may work 90 days per calendar year in all of Switzerland. A separate permit must be issued for each work location.
What happens if I have used up my 90 days?
For our long-term and regular tenants, there are solutions, such as obtaining a B-permit. With a long-term permit, you become taxable in Switzerland, unlike with the 90-day permit.
Are there any additional fees or taxes?
No, in the canton of Zurich there are no additional taxes or social security contributions during the 90-day permit period.
